I have received numerous letters from constituents who will be directly affected by the policy to make cuts to the Winter Fuel Payment. There are countless pensioners who sit just outside the criteria for receiving pension credits, yet struggle financially, who are at risk of losing £300 towards energy bills because of this decision.
