Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley and Army Veteran, hosted a UK Parliamentary Reception with Patria Group of Finland on 15th January 2025.
Patria are a modern, international defence and technology company, producing vital battlefield equipment to Ukraine and other European states.

Patria are supporting Ukraine with their world-leading defence and battlefield products. With vehicles such as the Patria 6x6, an iconic armoured vehicle used for troop transportation.
In the UK, our military readiness must evolve to meet the new frontiers of warfare.
We cannot afford to stand still. In Parliament I continue to press for further funding for our Armed Forces. We must ensure that our forces are equipped, well trained and capable.
In this new era of defence, we need the right partners beside us. Partners who share our commitment to security. Partners who have current experience on the battlefield. Partners who understand the needs of those on the ground. Patria is solidly one of those partners.My reception was an opportunity for parliamentarians, defence experts, and others to hear more about Patria’s defence offering and explore wider partnerships.
