Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West and Shirley, attended the 8th St Alphege Beer Festival, which was organised by Friends of St Alphege music. Funds raised will be used to support teaching music in the local community.
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP said:
There was a great choice of real ales and ciders at the Beer Festival at Oliver Bird Hall. As a supporter of real ales, CAMRA, and independent breweries, I was delighted to sponsor a barrel of oatmeal stout which had a deep full bodied chocolately flavour. It was brilliant to see how popular the festival was, and enjoy a couple of pints with some fantastic musical entertainment.
