To mark the end of National Apprentice Week, Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley, returned to Solihull College and University Centre on Friday 14th February, to meet with the Principal, Dr Rebecca Garter, and apprentices.
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP said:
I would like to thank Dr Rebecca Garter for meeting with me at Solihull College and University Centre. We discussed the array of opportunities for education, skills, and apprenticeships on offer.
I am committed to supporting the development of skills and opportunities for young people in Solihull West & Shirley. Apprenticeships offer a valuable pathway to gain practical experience, whilst earning, gaining qualifications, and building a successful career.
Therefore, I was delighted to meet with apprentices currently enrolled at the College, to listen to their experiences, and to identify better ways we can support our apprentices.
