Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP’s Christmas Card Competition 2024 received hundreds of entries from primary school children across the Solihull West & Shirley constituency.
After reviewing every entry, Neil picked the winning design, which was created by Martha from Kineton Green Primary School.
Martha’s artwork has been used for Neil’s official Christmas card to the Prime Minister, The House of Commons Speaker, Members of Parliament, councillors, along with hundreds of residents, businesses, and community groups throughout Solihull West & Shirley.
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Member of Parliament for Solihull West & Shirley said:
I thoroughly enjoyed looking through all the entries for my Christmas Card competition. I would like to thank every student and school who participated in the competition.
It was a great pleasure to visit Martha and her Headteacher, Mrs Mason, at Kineton Green Primary School, to deliver a copy of the Christmas Card to the School. I also awarded Martha with a certificate to commemorate her success.
In addition, I had the opportunity to present a copy of the Christmas Card to The House of Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, who was incredibly impressed. Mr Speaker kindly signed a the card as a memento for Martha.
